Ipod, Wii, PSP, Myspace, text and IM. Names synonymous with the youth of this generation. Seems as if we’ve got an electrical device for everything nowadays. Can’t read a map? Get a GPS! Too busy to use an encyclopedia? Try Google! Too lazy to grow a garden? Use a Roll’n’Grow! And once you’ve done that you can use the Aqua Globe to water it for you! What ever happened to work? What has become of good ol’ fashioned blood, sweat, and tears? Has America completely forgotten what she stands for? “Give Me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses…”
Wake up America! It’s high time we pull the headphones out of our ears and start living, life is short enough as it is without wasting it away on myspace. When it’s gotten to the point when we’d rather text our friends than visit them it’s a sign we’re all in deep you-know-what! If we’re not careful, it could get way out of control. And OMG, that’s not good.
