If you like books with drama and lots of emotion then the book Speak is right for you.Speak is written by Laurie Halse Anderson in 1999. I have to say that Speak will and has always been my favorite book. I had to read it in eighth grade for an english assignment and once I read the first page I was hooked!Speak is about a highschool girl named Melinda Sordino who is the outcast of her school.
Melinda and a few friends were invited to a party and they get drunk and she meets an upperclassman. Whose name is Andy Evans (the hot stud) she was raped that night and she called the cops during the party. Everyone despised her after that and no one would talk to her.
I now hope you guys read it to hear the ending. You'll be really suprised :o) I know I was!
